Reflecting on my first 6 months working at Amazon as a Data Analyst 📈. It’s been a fast-paced and rewarding experience, pushing me to grow both technically and professionally. I’ve had the opportunity to work on impactful projects, take on real responsibility, and collaborate across teams globally. Here’s a snapshot of what I’ve been working on so far: Project 1 AI-Driven Automation & Backend Engineering • Built a Python service that leverages generative AI to automate support workflows • Implemented API integrations to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual processing time. • Developed skills in AI service integration using AWS services, API design, and automation engineering. Project 2 Data Platform Engineering & Migration • Served as a Point of Contact for a cross-regional data migration initiative. • Independently migrated ETL workflows to new infrastructure • Validated data integrity across systems • Implemented advanced IAM security patterns. • Collaborated with international teams to deliver business-critical data solutions supporting global operations. Soft Skills • Presented to over 300 students during National Apprenticeship Week on apprenticeship career pathways • Equipped attendees with actionable strategies for navigating the recruitment process successfully • Illustrated the realities of apprenticeship life, including professional development and workplace learning Looking forward to continuing this journey and building on everything I’ve learnt so far. #NationalApprenticeshipWeek #AmazonApprenticeships #Amazon
