As part of my specialization in Accounting, Taxation, and Auditing, I had the opportunity to visit the DHL Post Tower in Bonn and gain practical insights beyond the lecture hall. During the visit, I was able to attend several engaging presentations covering topics such as taxation, controlling, investor relationship and risk management. It was especially valuable to see how these areas connect in real corporate decision making and how theory translates into practice at scale. Thank you to Dr. Jan Sedemund, LL.M. taxation (USA) for making this experience possible and for offering such an open and insightful look into these fields. Opportunities like this are a great reminder of why I chose this focus and where it can lead. Grateful for the insights and inspiration.
