🌍 This Climate Week feels different. We’ll be at #climateweekNYC this year. There’s record engagement and a broad mix of actors showing up. More companies, investors, and NGOs than ever. With over 1,000 events planned across the city, the energy feels different. The conversation has shifted. It’s no longer about whether we need strong climate action but how to deliver it. This year, the spotlight is on decarbonizing heavy industry, scaling clean electricity, modernizing grids, managing AI-driven energy demand, and unlocking finance and carbon markets to accelerate supply chain decarbonization. The gap between ambition and implementation is still real, but the momentum feels tangible. That’s a sharp contrast to the last big climate conference earlier this year. The Global Plastics Treaty collapsed in Geneva as oil and gas interests fought to strip the agreement of its core purpose: cutting virgin plastic production. I believe Climate Week NYC can be different. I’m optimistic about seeing real solutions emerge and curious what you think. Does this week feel more promising to you? Am I being a hopeless optimist, or do we think things will change? #ClimateAction #Sustainability #Decarbonization
