🌞 New solar park on our company site Sustainability isn’t achieved through single measures, but through consistent action. That’s why we’re building a new solar park with more than 3.000 solar modules on our company site at Plant 2 in Ohrdruf. With this new facility, we’re making a targeted investment in a climate-friendly and future-proof energy supply at our location. Key facts at a glance: 🔸 Approximately 1.950 MWh of solar power per year 🔸 Self-consumption rate of 68.5% 🔸 Self-sufficiency rate of 23.1% 🔸 Avoidance of approximately 915 tons of CO₂ annually The solar park complements our existing energy partnership with ECO2GROW, through which we already source approximately 3.000 MWh of wind power annually from a German wind farm, thereby saving an additional 2.100 tons of CO₂. The regional approach is particularly important to us: We collaborate with local partners to implement the project. In this way, we strengthen the local economy, minimize transportation distances and combine environmental responsibility with regional value creation.
