This weekend in Jacksonville, a suspected drunk driver reportedly drove directly onto the Ironman race course while athletes were cycling and running. Officers say the driver ignored commands to stop and came dangerously close to hitting multiple competitors before law enforcement stepped in and stopped the situation. Think about that for a second… Families could have lost loved ones. Athletes chasing dreams could have lost everything. Lives could have changed forever in an instant. Every single day is a blessing. Tomorrow is never promised. Please be careful out here. Stay alert. Protect one another. Don’t drink and drive. One bad decision can destroy countless lives.
