German solar and battery developer MN projects GmbH is pleased to announce the appointment of a new CEO, Guillaume Lasserre.                Guillaume Lasserre is an accomplished leader in renewable energy and brings more than 10 years’ experience in building successful development businesses and managing investments across the renewable energy value chain, from project inception to operation, at Nordex Group and most recently Aquila Clean Energy, where he was Head of Investment Management. Earlier in his career, Guillaume held various investment banking roles at UniCredit and Crédit Agricole and worked as a Manager in Transaction Advisor Services at EY. Guillaume Lasserre expressed his enthusiasm for the new role: “I am honoured to join MN Projects and am grateful for the trust placed in me by Octopus Energy Generation. With a solid foundation already in place, I am excited to work with the team to achieve our ambitious growth targets and to further position MN Projects as a leader in renewable energy and battery storage solutions in Germany.” The appointment of the new CEO marks a decisive step in the evolution of the company and the next phase of as it continues to strengthen its position as one of the leading German solar and BESS developers. Guillaume has taken over from MN’s founders, Bernd Neitzel and Joachim Muller, as the company enters its next phase. MN projects is a rapidly growing project developer in solar and energy storage in Germany headquartered in Hamburg and fully owned by Octopus Energy Development Partnership, a fund managed by one of Europe’s leading renewables investors Octopus Energy Generation.
