Waitsia Gas Plant Showcase for the Dongara Denison Community   On Friday, 29 May, Mitsui E&P Australia (MEPAU), together with joint venture partner Beach Energy Ltd, welcomed members of the Dongara Denison community to a showcase of the Waitsia Gas Plant. Located approximately 16 kilometres from Dongara, the visit provided local residents with an opportunity to learn more about the facility and its operations. The program commenced at the Irwin Recreation Centre with a welcome and introduction, before continuing to the Waitsia Gas Plant viewing area. MEPAU Vice President HSE & Operated Assets, Tim Meehan, provided an overview of the facility and took the time to answer questions from attendees. From the viewing point, participants gained insight into the gas production process. The afternoon concluded with light refreshments at the Denison Bowling Club, providing an opportunity for further discussions with community members.
