In an interesting paper entitled “Retail Renaissance – Death of online?”, Knight Frank says that the days of exponential online growth are over, following an evolutionary structural change in which multi-channel is now growing faster than online pure-play, a trend which is likely to accelerate moving forward.   In this UK study, Knight Frank says there is a significant crossover between retail’s various channels of distribution and, more often than not, they work in harmony rather than discord, a fact that is becoming clearer all the time.    Having made the transition to multi-channel, Knight Frank says that these operators now have the most versatile infrastructure and are best placed to capitalize on potential organic growth.   We at Mitiska REIM began seeing evidence of the mutually beneficial relationship between retail parks and e-commerce several years ago, highlighting at the time that the retail park format is ideally suited to support omnichannel retailers offering click-and-collect orders, processing customer returns and servicing home deliveries.   To access Mitiska REIM’s insights, please click here: https://lnkd.in/eNUj9dr7   To read the Knight Frank Report, please follow this link: https://lnkd.in/ed3ji4WD #conveniencerealestate #retailparks #onlineshopping
