Yesterday, we filmed several of our PhD researchers to show the important work theyโ€™re doing within the MIST Project. It was great to hear how each of them contributes to understanding airborne infections and improving indoor air quality. Our PhDs come from teams across the Netherlands, studying topics such as: โ€ข How airborne droplets form and spread (University of Twente โ€“ Physics of Fluids) โ€ข The impact of mitigation measures like facemasks (Radboud UMC) โ€ข CFD modelling of ventilation and infection control (Eindhoven University of Technology โ€“ Fluids and Flows) โ€ข Droplet generation during coughing and sneezing (University of Twente) Looking forward to sharing the videos soon! Thanks to our PhD candidates, Kirsten Lassing, Tommie V., Rui Carneiro, and Ayush Kumar Dixit, for making the day a success. A big thanks to the TU Delft NewMedia Centre team (Boris Swaen, Maik Helgers, Geraldo Solisa) for producing such professional videos. Your expertise made the filming day a great success๐Ÿ‘ #MISTproject #AirQuality #Ventilation #InfectionControl #PhDLife #Research
