Meaningful connections strengthen communities, workplaces and lives. This fall, Missouri State University will welcome actor, writer and producer Rainn Wilson as the keynote speaker for its 2026 Public Affairs Conference, themed "The We Factor: Building Connections That Matter." As one of the co-founders of media company SoulPancake, Wilson has spent years exploring how people seek connection, hope, truth, identity and purpose. He'll speak at 7 p.m. Sept. 29 in Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts. The event, made possible by the Missouri State University Foundation with support from KY3 Inc.
