This year's World Day for Safety and Health at Work focuses on the theme “Let's ensure a healthy psychosocial working environment” When psychosocial factors harm workers, they become hazards which, alongside physical, chemical and biological types, must be addressed and managed to ensure safe and healthy working environments. Hazardous areas are locations that are classified (by the law) as areas at risk of explosion. But “Hazardous areas” named also “HazLoc” could be not only physical environments but also those created by psychological pressures. From Miretti’s point of view, Safety means Explosion Proof Protections in HazLoc. Safety, therefore, is not just about protecting against physical risks, but also about creating working conditions that minimise human error and human stress. 𝗛𝗼𝘄? An example from our own experience: Making the mobile vehicles, engines and industrial equipment on which people work Ex-safer helps to prevent catastrophic events and also helps to reduce the pressure on staff.
