#backtoschool 🤩 #HEGGenève #MASExecutiveSustainabilityManagement This weekend I started an exciting journey, and the choice to invest more time in learning is already paying off! I have tons of new dots to connect with my existing network and projects at personal and professional level after only 2 half days in class. I am 🍀 I must admit: it’s not just the quality of the educational process put in place by Francois Sibille and his team, but also the fact that he put together an amazing group of professionals passionate about creating a more sustainable economy. I leave with you my main takeaways that can be actionable in every role: ✨ Sustainability is everybody’s business: the purpose of a CSR governance body is not to create a parallel structure and to paralyse the organisation with additional “bureaucratic” work but to create an #INTEGRATED management system that is responsible and integrates sustainability into every layer of the business and its stakeholders ✨to do this, #COMPETENCE is of course very important to make a difference and to really create value for all the stakeholders. #Education, #communication, #integrity, #engagement, #transparency are critical for building the competence that is needed ✨start with incremental small changes in any aspect of the sustainable governance principles (e.g. the mission, the value creation, strategy, surveillance, accountability, stakeholders engagement, decision making, leadership, risk management, CSR, perennial performance) and do it in an #AGILE and #EFFICIENT way. It doesn’t have to be complete or perfect from the beginning. The problems to solve are too complex to aim for that. Let me know if you would like to exchange on any of these ideas that I’ve shared. I am passionate by the topic and still high in energy after the winter holidays 😅
