𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 – “𝐒𝐚𝐡𝐤𝐚𝐫 𝐒𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐡𝐢: 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲” At the concluding session of the two-day National Review Conference held in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation, Dr. Ashish Kumar Bhutani emphasized the need to translate policy initiatives into tangible grassroots outcomes through stronger implementation, field engagement, and institutional support. He highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperative banking, accelerating PACS computerization and business diversification, promoting democratic and accountable cooperative institutions, and expanding the cooperative movement into emerging sectors such as food processing, renewable energy, tourism, and digital platforms. The Secretary also stressed the immense potential of the North Eastern region in dairy, horticulture, food processing, and value addition, calling for stronger institutional partnerships and end-to-end infrastructure to unlock cooperative-led growth in the region.
