MinLaw held a public consultation on the recommendations of the Committee to Enhance Singapore’s Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency Regime (the “Committee”) from 11 March 2025 to 8 April 2025. We received written responses and engaged relevant stakeholders in focus group discussions during the public consultation.   Respondents were broadly supportive of the Committee’s recommendations. Suggestions were also received on how the recommendations could be adapted or refined during implementation in order to achieve the underlying policy objectives.   After reviewing and assessing the feedback received, MinLaw has broadly accepted the Committee’s recommendations. In implementing the Committee’s recommendations, MinLaw will make suitable refinements and adjustments to take into account feedback from the consultation.   MinLaw thanks all respondents for their feedback during the public consultation.
