What does creativity look like in practice? Over the past four months, our staff, graduate (MDA) students and alumni built something special through our inaugural Makerspace, an initiative that mirrors Minerva’s undergraduate model, with a mix of large group learning and small working sessions to take ideas from seed to sampling. Seven projects were presented, with two more highlighted. From a Korean literacy app for children (launching soon), to adaptive clothing rooted in repurposed materials, to early thesis explorations, each idea reflected thoughtful, applied creativity. This is what innovation looks like for mid-career professionals: pursuing new ideas, stretching their thinking, and building alongside full-time work. On World Creativity & Innovation Day, we’re proud to create spaces to celebrate ideas that move!
