Thank goodness it's #FluorescenceFriday! We are showcasing a spatial multiomic map of human colorectal cancer (CRC) tissue. In CRC tissue there can be tumor, stromal, and immune compartments within microns of each other. Adding to the mystery, they all behave very differently. Spatial multiomics helps us study tumors as entire ecosystems rather than homogenized samples.
