On 5th of June 1919 in Alhambra Theater in London was a premiere of ballet ''La boutique fantastique'' with music of Ottorino Respighi based on piano pieces by Gioacchino Rossini ''Pechess di vieillesse''. Choreograph was Leonide Massine, who wrote the libretto with famous artist Andre Derain, a pioneer of Fauvism, who also designed costumes and decor for Djagilev's Ballet Russes as performers. Here is possibly the most popular movement in the later suite - ''Tarantella. La Danza'' - second number in the ballet. Enjoy.
