Coming soon (2): Der Tormann (the Goalkeeper): His family sought refuge, at the end of the WW2, in Styria (Austria), escaping from a deportation to Siberia. He grew up in a small village, in the German street, inhabited by Gubaschen and Beriner. At the final-shootout in Seville, he saved all (!) the four penalties against CF Barcelona and secured the first title ever won by a club from (the communist) Eastern Europe. Then, there was this telegram at midnight, the reception by the president comrade Ceaușescu, these rumors regarding the Spanish-Mercedes. And he disappeared from his team, never playing football again. A crazy story! About German Gubaschen and Beriner in Banat, about this fascinating country: Romania. About the big earthquake, Chernobyl, about life, ups and downs, the endless training-units and the never-giving-up, about beliefs, friendship, values and destiny.
