One must always have loyalty to the truth, otherwise it becomes tribalism to the untruth. The biggie that terrified you since we met in 2016 wasn’t that me and your mum would come to a wider light but that someone would discover at your real place of work that you had used privileged information to do all you could to cover up for your mum’s own crimes over the years against my person. That then became very very sensitive for your career progression and prospects. And so the absolute need for utter hermeticism around my person had little to do with my falling in love with you and everything to do with an increasingly helter-skelter series of attempts on your part and possible on Mark’s to cover up the utterly foolish abuse of internal intel for family interests quite tangential to the purposes for which the information had originally been collected. Jen is also party to this, and another reason why everyone has tried to get me to fall on my sword from 2016 onwards. You really must all find the gumption to now apologise to me. ‘Cos that’s all it needs to right everyone: a black and white apology I can take and show my children and my ex so they at least get the closure I always sensed was already there awaiting me. They in their hurting ignorance and me in my Holmesian fab, both. In fact, why not the following? Why not let’s *all* drum up the courage to apologise — and then choose to reboot *every* life so sorely touched since 2002 by my life histories and your collateral stuff? cc Di Hutchinson, Mike Stubbs
