#Chemistry talking to #Biotech 🧬⚗️ <🤝> #CoLaborator 🌉The Nobel Price winner, Jennifer Doudna, is the co-founder of Mammoth Biosciences, among other companies! A big shout out to Peter Nell who is currently the CBO of the company. 📅 Previously Peter Nell worked at Bayer Pharmaceuticals and Casebia Therapeutics, which recently was acquired by CRISPR Therapeutics (HQ in Cambridge, MA). The company is still renting our space at the Bayer’s biotech incubator named CoLaborator In San Francisco. This is transformative #innovation and I can’t wait to see the development of #CRISPR in the next 10 years. Great to see the early involvement of Bayer with this technology. More about the winners; Jennifer Doudna, Li Ka Shing Chancellor’s Professor of Biomedical Science at UC Berkeley and Mammoth Biosciences Co-Founded and Professor Emmanuelle Charpentier, Managing Director of the Max Planck Unit for the Science of Pathogens in Berlin.
