How I got my first inbound client from LinkedIn with less than 1,000 followers. I had under 1,000 followers when I got my first inbound client. No viral post.  No big audience.  No luck. I'd been posting three times a week for six weeks. Small following, mostly people I already knew. Then one Tuesday someone I'd never spoken to messaged me. "Saw your post about...I have the exact same problem. Can we talk?" One post.  One message.  One client. The post wasn't my most liked. It described one very specific frustration. I was writing for the version of myself from a few months earlier. Turns out there were other people exactly like that. Quietly reading, not engaging publicly. You don't need thousands of people seeing your content. You need a handful of the right people seeing the right post at the right moment. A small audience that trusts you converts at a rate a large audience never will. What I wish I had from day one...a way to know who was reading and clicking even before they messaged me. That first client reached out on their own, but I have no idea how many other people read that post and never did, simply because I had no system showing me they existed.
