EU Horizon and EIC Pathfinder 908 proposals submitted to Pathfinder call. I am involved in two of these with ALMINICA EIC Pathfinder projects are cutting edge proposals which are cutting-edge high-risk / high-impact interdisciplinary research with essential characteristics like Radical vision, Breakthrough technological target, Ambitious interdisciplinary research. Innovation capacity is a growing need. Proposals need to position their uniqueness in utilisation and innovation management. Motivating to Agenda 2030 goals is too weak link. Therefore the synergies in technology value chain with regional and innovation strategies for smart specialisation (for regional economic growth) is a competitive advantage.
