Humans matter… In my recent conversations with security leaders, more often than not, the need for guardrails for a secured and successful implementation of AI comes up. AI is already embedded across organizations, and security teams are racing to get ahead of new exposure. Main topics that come up in most conversations are around AI search tools uncovering “#identity_debt” of #misconfigured_permissions, keeping agents in their lane (if you haven’t already heard about Kiro and Amazon Web Services (AWS) – look it up), agent to agent communication leading to #privilege_escalation, and keeping #mission_critical agents #resilient and online. Mid of one of the recent conversations, the CISO turned to me and said – let’s not forget about the 100K+ humans that work here and need #authentication and #authorization. #Hybrid now has a new meaning. Last week I also had the privilege to attend Gartner London #IAM conference. Some of my takeaways: - Cloud identity resilience while more critical than ever, remains an unsolved challenge. Challenge accepted 😉 - #ITDR in the age of AI and cloud expansion must include recovery. Proud that we have been providing it from the beginning of our journey. - Identity needs to be at the center of any security practice, as #identity_first security plays a critical role in secure AI adoption. It was also great to meet many of our customers, attend a great session by Greg Kinasewitz and I even got to hang at our booth!
