CEO at Semperis | Be a Force for Good

Last week in #Detroit, I had the opportunity to attend a #resilience roundtable that brought together thoughtful voices from across the #security_community. Our discussions spanned both #cyber_resilience and #human_resilience, with a strong emphasis on #identity_security and what it really takes to build resilience into organizations and into people. We also had a great panel discussion around Midnight in the War Room and the important themes the film explores. With its premiere coming up at Black Hat, and with Black Hat being so deeply rooted in community, the film feels especially meaningful because it reflects and elevates the story of our community. What stood out most to me, though, was the Detroit security community itself. There is a real sense that people here have each other’s backs. The friendship and the mutual support in that community are truly remarkable. Thank you to everyone who made the event so valuable. I’m already looking forward to coming back and spending more time in the area. Maureen Niemiec, Maria Haight, Juman Doleh-Alomary, Darren P.
