Someone asked me last week: “What do you actually do?” This week, as I had the pleasure to gather my Product Line Leadership team here in Zug, we took a moment to write down the answer: We build world-class building automation devices that measure, collect, and transmit data — making it available and actionable. Zug has been the perfect place for that kind of reflection — close to our teams, surrounded by energy, ideas, and a bit of Swiss calm (few pics below). As always, it’s the people — and the sparring partners who challenge our thinking — who make the difference. And as we look ahead, the future of building automation is being rewritten. Devices are no longer just endpoints — they’re becoming intelligent and secure nodes in an ecosystem where buildings learn, adapt, and optimize themselves. From sensors and gateways to AI-driven software insights, every layer of technology brings us closer to buildings that anticipate needs, balance energy intelligently, and truly serve the people inside them. That’s the journey we’re on — and it’s only becoming more exciting, with Siemens leading the way.
