Against all odds - and probably against a few engineering textbooks - we made it to the finish line of the Morocco Złombol 2026. 🎉🚐 It wasn’t just a road trip. It was a real test of teamwork, resilience, creativity, and determination. Our faithful Żuk kept reminding us that every problem has a solution… even if that solution involves duct tape, roadside repairs, and a bit of optimism. Between an overheating engine, endless mechanical failures, extreme temperatures, and very little sleep, we somehow kept moving forward. Looking back, what stands out most isn’t the number of breakdowns - it’s the people who refused to give up. Every repair became a team effort, every obstacle another opportunity to work together, and every kilometer reminded us what can be achieved when everyone is pulling in the same direction. I’m incredibly proud of everyone who was part of this adventure. These are the kinds of experiences you can’t buy - they’re earned through challenges, trust, and countless hours spent solving problems together. A huge thank you to Justinas Baranovskis and Kacper Winiarczyk for believing in this crazy idea from the very beginning, and to everyone else involved. This masterpiece of custom mechanics would not work without brilliant mechanical engineering skills of Bartłomiej Tucholski. MacGuyver would have been proud of you. And special recognition goes to my teammates from Ovoko: Ruslans Skubiļins, Renatas Chaleckas, Jan Mroczek, and Maciej Z. It was an absolute pleasure sharing this adventure with you. Your dedication, positive attitude, and willingness to tackle every challenge made this journey unforgettable. What makes this story even more special is that Ovoko doesn’t just talk about supporting its people - it genuinely empowers employees to pursue ambitious, unconventional ideas. Taking part in events like Złombol wouldn’t have been possible without a company that trusts its people, encourages initiative, and understands that the strongest teams are often built outside the office. That’s one of the reasons I’m proud to be part of it. Working with people who are willing to go the extra mile - sometimes literally across a desert - and having a company that stands behind these kinds of initiatives is something truly unique. If you’re looking for a “safe” corporate job, this probably isn’t it. But if you want a place where trust goes beyond office walls and “let’s try it” actually means something… Welcome to Ovoko 🧡.
