Project Manager

From the construction site to the design table: Why I decided to switch sides. For many years, I was "on the execution side." My daily world revolved around building envelope installation right on-site, coordinating teams, and finding practical solutions to ensure the final result was not only aesthetic but, most importantly, 100% functional and buildable. Years spent in the field taught me one fundamental thing: the smoothest projects are those where quality preparation is never underestimated. If we want to build top-tier facades without unnecessary complications and downtime, key technical details cannot be resolved on the fly on-site. They must be crystal clear from the very first line on paper. That’s why I decided to bring my installation experience exactly where the facade comes to life – to the design table. A big thank you goes to lavrincik FACADE EXPERTS for making this transition possible and trusting me with the role of Project Manager in their team. What do I enjoy most about this new role? ▪ The synergy of theory and practice: Thanks to my years in the field, I can evaluate designs from a practical standpoint to see what is efficient and genuinely buildable for installers, and what would instead overcomplicate their work. ▪ Preparation as the ultimate foundation: A well-designed substructure, proper detailing, and especially integrating the requirements of architects, designers, investors, structural engineers, and fire safety experts are not things that can just be "figured out on the fly." These aspects must be uncompromisingly and correctly defined right from the start of the project. That is the only way to ensure smooth and safe work for everyone on-site. ▪ Support for architects and investors: Together with the team, we help fine-tune technical solutions so that modern facades make sense not only visually, but especially from a structural and installation standpoint. Moving from execution to design is a brand-new chapter for me, but the goal remains exactly the same – a top-tier, safe facade built to last for generations. Looking forward to the new challenges and projects ahead! #CareerTransition #BuildingEnvelope #ProjectManagement #ExecutionVsDesign #NewChallenge #lavrincikFACADEEXPERTS
