Dear freight forwarders and warehouse operators, To date, disposable stretch film has been the predominant method used to secure palletised stacks of goods – resulting in high material consumption, time expenditure and waste generation. I have developed a simple, practical alternative: a mechanically tensionable, reusable cover that could replace conventional stretch film for block-shaped stacks of goods. The solution: • would be applied by one person in significantly less time, • does not require wrapping machines, • secures the stack of goods in a form-fitting and force-fitting manner, • would be rolled up compactly after transport and reused.
