I’m not sure I know the difference anymore… and that’s kind of the goal, right? “The master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his information and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence at whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he’s always doing both.” This quote keeps showing up in my feed lately—and I couldn't relate more. Because the truth is: I love what I do. Helping people achieve business ownership, while I build my own, coaching growth-minded entrepreneurs, working with like-minded individuals, evaluating hundreds of business models, creating something from nothing… it energizes me. It challenges me. And yes—it’s fun. A lot of people think business ownership is all stress and sacrifice. And sure, it can be. But when you’re aligned with your purpose, surrounded by the right people, and have the freedom to build something that matters to you -- That’s when the lines between “work” and “play” start to blur. It’s not about escaping work. It’s about designing a life you don’t need to escape from. That’s when the lines between “work” and “play” start to blur. It’s not about escaping work.
