1 year at Toast! 🍞 🥂 Spoiler: it's lived up to the hype 💯 Joining Toast to build the very first Inside Sales team in Canada from absolute scratch was a wild, exciting challenge. Looking back at the last 12 months, I am incredibly proud of what we’ve pulled off. We set out with a massive goal: scale Toast’s footprint across Canadian growth markets and show local restaurants what we can do. A few big highlights from Year 1: - Building the Dream Team: Going from zero to 2 (shout out Kyle A.) fully functioning, high-performing teams has been hands-down the most rewarding part of the job. ❤️‍🔥 - President’s Club: Very excited to have secured a spot in Toast's President’s Club. It’s an awesome milestone, but honestly it’s a direct reflection of the hustle this team puts in every single day. 120% in 2025, 118% YTD in 2026 is an incredible accomplishment for a brand new outbound team in a brand new market 😤 - World-Class Partners: A huge thank you to our incredible teammates (DM's) and business partners (Enablement, Onboarding, Growth, and so many more). We couldn't have navigated the growing pains of standing up a new team without you. 🙏 Danesh Mahimwala: not only do I have you to thank for helping me get my foot in the door, but always willing to jump in and help me no matter what. 🙏 Austin Lehman: for giving me a shot at Toast, and always advocating for our team 🙏 To my team: Michael Tuer, Meghan Finn, Vincent Camayang, Spiros Vassiliadis, Tamim R. Thank you for the grit, the laughs, and for making my first year here so much fun. You make it easy to show up energized every day.
