The rolling bearings used must meet high requirements in terms of load capacity as well as corrosion or temperature resistance. Such robots do not have a collection basket for the grass. Due to the short cutting intervals and the integrated mulching system, the clippings are kept extremely short and are therefore the optimal fertiliser for the lawn, as the absorption of all important nutrients is guaranteed. However, grass clippings not only serve as natural fertiliser for the lawn, but at the same time they retain moisture in the soil during dry periods and protect it from drying out.
