The June drizzle failed to dampen the celebrations at Cartmel Priory this morning. Professor Stephen Gill, Wordsworth biographer and former Trustee of the Wordsworth Trust, marked the restoration of the grave of William Taylor, the poet’s teacher at Hawkshead Grammar School, with a speech at the graveside and a talk in the Priory.
