Head of Data Security Solution Architects, Americas
For those who may have noticed that I’ve been quieter here recently, I wanted to share a career update. My role at Cloudflare was impacted by the reduction in force announced on May 7. The timing coincided with my youngest son’s final weeks as a high school senior, so I chose to step back, unplug, and be fully present for his year-end activities, graduation, and the conclusion of his varsity tennis season. It was time I’m grateful to have had with him and my family. During that period, I also had several conversations with people in my network about new opportunities. One opportunity in particular stood out. I’m excited to share that today I’m beginning a new chapter at Zscaler as the Americas Leader of Data Security Architects. Throughout my career, I’ve focused on helping customers understand the critical importance of data protection and develop strategies to safeguard their most sensitive asset: their data. In today’s cybersecurity landscape, data remains one of the most valuable targets, and I’m eager to help customers strengthen how they protect it. Zscaler’s Data Security portfolio has surpassed the significant milestone of $500 million in ARR, and I’m excited to contribute to the journey toward $1 billion. I’m grateful to Tom Bryant Mark Bassani Mark Govan and Amber (Holt) Palmeiro for such a thoughtful and seamless interview process—and for trusting me to lead this team. Thank you as well to Brian Robinson for working his recruiting magic throughout the process. I’m also looking forward to reconnecting with nearly 100 former colleagues and who are now at Zscaler. This is going to be an exciting journey, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be part of it. Onward and upward! 🚀
