One thing that stood out to me over the past couple of months was how similar many of the packaging quality discussions were, despite taking place in different countries and industries. Whether at Interpack, visiting customers, or speaking with quality teams, the same themes kept appearing: • Consistency • Shelf life performance • Reducing variability • Making quality checks more measurable The challenge isn't usually whether a package passes or fails on a particular day. It's understanding how consistently packaging performs over time and having confidence in the data behind those decisions. We've pulled together some thoughts on five packaging consistency challenges manufacturers are talking about in 2026.
