As a three-time CEO running my first remote company, I must admit I haven't made much progress in determining the optimal frequency of in-person team meetings. One thing I have learned is when a group of passionate, innovative individuals, who are mission-aligned, come together in a room, something magical happens. In a startup, this magic can instantly create value for your customers and partners and if properly channeled can become oxygen for the entire organization. Shoutout to my Crosschq teammates who came to HQ this week from Argentina, Maine, North Carolina, Arizona, Texas, and Utah (and I am sure other places I may have missed). A great reminder that talented, driven human beings in a room with a whiteboard can solve just about anything.
