The workshop, 'Transport Planning for Road Safety: From Theory to Practice”, run by the MIC-HUB City Futures Research Lab, has officially started today at Politecnico di Milano.   We are delighted to launch this new edition, which brings together theoretical and practical approaches to transport planning in the context of creating safer urban environments.   Today, the students were introduced to the themes by this year's tutors: Delia Valastro, Senior Researcher at MIC-HUB City Futures Research Lab Sweatha Ramesh, Senior Consultant in the Mobility Planning Team   The workshop will explore how urban space can better respond to the needs of vulnerable road users, addressing the unequal distribution of mobility resources and its impact on social exclusion and systemic inequalities.   Safer streets are not just a design challenge: they are also a matter of equity, accessibility, and justice.
