Meet Federico Flores-Parkman! After graduating from the University of Miami Herbert Business School in 2021 with a BS in Business Administration, majoring in Finance and Marketing and minoring in Art & Art History, Federico embarked on a diverse career journey. Initially working at J.P. Morgan in New York City as a Corporate Client Banking / Leveraged Finance Analyst, Federico decided to follow his passion for art, transitioning into the industry as a full-time artist (fparkman.com). This spring, he had his first show with a gallery in Mexico City, and last fall, he completed an art residency in Long Island, NY. He also ventured into interior design with his studio, Artem Design (arteminteriordesign.com). Currently, Federico's primary focus is on an exciting startup on a mission to unlock liquidity in the art market through art-backed lending, where he serves as Co-Founder and CEO. Federico's favorite experience at Miami Herbert was participating in the Bermont Carlin Scholars program, where he formed lasting relationships with professors like Mark Shapiro, Andrea Heuson, and Brian Barrett. He also highly recommends Nathan Timpano’s Modern Art History class to everyone, art and non-art students alike, as it was a transformative class that changed his perspective on art and life.
