🎓 𝗣𝗵𝗗 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 | 𝗦𝗲𝗹ç𝘂𝗸 𝗣𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗿 Tomorrow 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at 10:00 CET, Selçuk Peker will defend his PhD thesis at Maastricht University. Treating tumors located deep within the skull base requires a delicate balance between effectiveness and safety. In his PhD research, Selçuk Peker investigated the role of Gamma Knife Radiosurgery in the treatment of complex skull base tumors and related conditions, including schwannomas, meningiomas, and Cushing’s disease. By examining outcomes and treatment strategies, his work contributes to improving precision therapies for patients facing these challenging neurological disorders.
