🎓 𝗣𝗵𝗗 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 | 𝗤𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝗲𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗲𝗻 Tomorrow, 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at 13:00 CET, Qingfeng Wen will defend her PhD thesis at Maastricht University. Alzheimer’s disease begins long before symptoms become visible. In her PhD research, Qingfeng Wen explored how microRNAs (miRNAs) may help unravel the complex biological processes underlying Alzheimer’s disease. By connecting peripheral biomarkers with mechanisms inside the brain, her work offers new perspectives on early detection and disease understanding. This integrative approach could contribute to the development of more accurate diagnostic tools and future therapeutic strategies.
