Yesterday was one of the busiest days so far this year for the GO Transit and UP Express network, with more than 50,000 soccer fans, 42,000 Blue Jays attendees, and commuters moving across the region. A big part of the success was thanks to an adjusted start time for the Blue Jays game. Kudos to the Toronto Blue Jays for changing it up — it's all part of the months of planning and partnerships with the City of Toronto, Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) and others. And a tip of the cap to incredible front-line operators, staff and volunteers who helped manage a huge increase in riders.
