Here's your first look at some of the specialized equipment helping transform the GO network. 👀 During last weekend’s planned service disruptions, crews used new yellow plant machines on the Lakeshore East Line to complete critical track improvements, including installing track panels, replacing ballast and track surfacing. Across the network, teams also advanced construction at the East Harbour Transit Hub, prepared for a future track diversion as part of the Finch Avenue East Underpass on the Stouffville Line, continued work to support platform upgrades at Oakville GO on the Lakeshore West Line, and completed essential maintenance on the UP Express. These planned closures allow crews to safely complete work that can only happen when trains aren’t running, bringing us one step closer to faster, more frequent and more connected service through GO Expansion.
