Today we mark the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and 2 Spirit Peoples (MMIWG2S+), also known as Red Dress Day. This day is dedicated to raising awareness about violence against Indigenous Women, Girls and 2 Spirit People and to honouring those who are missing or have been taken from their families and communities.
