What a fantastic few weeks on the road for Team Metro Mining! 🙌   We had the privilege of exhibiting at both the Western Cape Careers Expo in Weipa and the BLA Cairns Careers Expo — two incredible events that brought together students, job seekers, and career changers from across Far North Queensland.   It was genuinely energising to speak with so many curious, ambitious people about what a career in mining can offer. From engineering and logistics to environmental management and community engagement, the conversations reminded us just how broad and rewarding a pathway into the resources sector can be.   Being present in the communities closest to our operations matters deeply to us. Weipa and Cairns aren’t just dots on a map — they’re home to the people who power this industry, and we’re proud to invest in those connections.   A big thank you to the organisers of both expos, and to everyone who stopped by our stand.
