Equality is something we practise every day at METRO, and it takes centre stage on today´s International Women's Day 2026. It's an opportunity to reflect on what has already been achieved and recognise that we can only move forward together. One effective tool is our leadership programme,'The LEADERSHIP Catalyst for Women', which was relaunched in February 2026. Women from a variety of departments and METRO countries are currently undertaking various training modules together. They are taking an in-depth look at their #leadership careers to date, identifying their further potential and strengths. The women come together to share experiences and perspectives. This enriches us as a company, and it is important to continue to highlight this – so that, together, we can take a big step towards 'equal opportunities'!  Steps like taking #responsibility, actively #shaping the future and building strong #networks.
