Coronary imaging is no longer defined by limitations , it is defined by what is now possible. With the newly installed NAEOTOM Alpha Peak Photon-Counting CT in our center, we performed initial clinical experiences of LAD coronary stent imaging using Quantum Ultra High Resolution Technology, 0.2 mm slice thickness, and 1024 matrix reconstruction. These first cases already demonstrate the exceptional capability of photon-counting detector technology in delineating stent lumen and coronary structures with remarkable spatial resolution, translating into a new level of diagnostic detail in routine clinical workflow. This marks the beginning of a new phase in cardiovascular imaging at our institution.
