𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚. More than 130,000 American veterans are legally blind. Now, the work our wearables team has poured into AI glasses is going directly to every single one of them — for free. Our Ray-Ban Meta glasses can read text, identify objects, and help veterans manage everyday tasks using just their voice. It's a step change in daily independence — and now every blind veteran in America gets access. We're partnering with the Blinded Veterans Association (BVA) to make sure no one is left to figure it out alone. Monthly webinars, in-person events, and dedicated guides are all part of the program. Don Overton, the US Army veteran who inspired this effort, said it best: "When I lost my eyesight in Desert Storm, I also lost my independence.
