Our Summer 2026 Intern Hackathon was one for the books 🏆 Over 110 interns from Meta’s US offices came together for 3 days of building, problem-solving, and friendly competition. Hackathons are one of our favorite traditions — they give people the space to stretch their creativity, sharpen their skills, and grow through hands-on collaboration. 🔥 Teams tackled challenges spanning: • Wearable tech and multilingual experiences that push the boundaries of how people connect • AI accessibility tools that make video content available to entirely new audiences • Intelligent features that transform casual content collections into useful, structured formats With submissions this strong, landing on winners was the biggest challenge of the event.
