A little late in posting this, but it's important to highlight how the Cornell Tech Bay Trek program is an incredible reminder of what makes the Cornell Tech ecosystem so special. Alongside our university partners at Shenkar - Engineering. Design. Art. and Universidad de Monterrey, our students engaged deeply with the west coast tech and venture community, exploring how research, design, and entrepreneurship intersect in the real world. We’re deeply grateful to our hosts: Jonathan Kim and Jonathan Geter at Meta; AWS (with a special thank you to Nafea Bshara, Steering Committee member and Technion - Israel Institute of Technology alum); Cheng G. and Noshin Nisa at Waymo (Cornell Tech alumni); SRI International; Eric Talbert at MedCycle Network; Marcus Thompson at FastForward; James Norman at BlackOps; and Jacques Benkoski at US Venture Partners. Honorable mentions to our Stanford partners, Ariel Raz at the d.School and Mark Leone from Mechanical Engineering, for welcoming us into their community. And sincere thanks to our friends and partners at MindState Tamar Many and Henk van Assen, as well as MARCO GARRIDO, for helping make this experience possible. Huge thanks to my Jacobs partners, Samantha Laite and Leah Burke. Bay Trek continues to be more than a career exploration trip. It’s a bridge between Cornell Tech’s academic rigor and entrepreneurial ecosystem and the innovation community on the West Coast and we hope to continue our tradition of expanding this bridge.
