We are very excited to share that The Whale will reopen on 19 June 2026, after a multi-year property renovation.    Set in the picturesque seaside town of Narooma on the NSW South Coast, The Whale is an 18-key boutique hotel that has been reimagined by the Merivale Design Studio, with a nod to 1970s coastal design and paired with contemporary finishes.    Shared spaces are central to the guest experience, with a magnesium pool, sauna, ice bath, landscaped gardens, sunset-facing firepit, and pickleball court designed to bring guests together.   Dan Hong’s much-loved Queen Chow also returns adjoining The Whale, with a refreshed menu and interiors.   Bookings for The Whale are now open, including for full-hotel buy outs. https://whalenarooma.com/
