⚡ Powering up Northland’s first wind farm. Our Kaiwaikawe Wind Farm, near Dargaville, has begun delivering electricity to the grid. Once fully commissioned, the wind farm will have a total installed capacity of 77MW and expected generation of around 221GWh a year - enough renewable electricity to power about 31,000 homes. This is one of three major renewable builds we've been progressing over the past couple of years, representing an investment of around $1 billion in new renewable generation for New Zealand.
